Knitted dough baskets are an attractive and beautiful way to serve Easter eggs and eggs. Magnificent decoration for the festive table, in which you can serve salads, appetizers, various dishes.
Basket weaving is a relatively difficult process, but it is very suitable for Easter and arranging decorated eggs. There are numerous ways of making, but basically they all rely on the shape of another vessel.

Necessary products:
- Optional dough - in principle, the sauces are more suitable as they do not inflate much when baking, but this also applies to some of the yeast butter doughs and some to pizzas.
- A refractory receptacle that will shape the basket.
- Fat - any vegetable or animal is suitable.
- Broken egg with two tablespoons water - for spreading.
- Aluminum foil or baking paper, provided that the dough knit cannot be directly on the pan.
- Toothpicks to secure some types of braid and handle, if you have provided one.

Method of production:

Roll out a rectangle of the desired thickness and cut the appropriate strips. Turn the refractory pan upside down, cover with foil or paper as needed, and grease the entire surface carefully. Knit strips of dough on a greased base using a selected method, carefully cutting out unnecessary edges that you can re-roll. Fasten with pressure, and if that is not enough, secure with toothpicks. You can also incorporate a dose of creativity by cutting pasta shapes (for example, leaf-shaped). When the whole pan is covered, press down on the top, ie. for the bottom of the bottom to be even, smear a beaten egg and place in the preheated 180 ° C to 220 ° C (depending on the dough) oven. Bake until golden brown. If you like, arrange and put a basket handle in parallel. It is secured with the help of toothpicks when the basket cools. This is much more difficult with the soda dough. Detach from the base, allow to cool and you're ready for the holiday surprise. If you do not plan to serve within the next 24 hours, then after cooling down, you should place the basket in an envelope.
